How much does solar cost to install?
A typical home array lands between £5,000 and £8,000 for the panels and inverter, rising to roughly £8,000 to £13,000 once you add battery storage. Your roof, the panel count and the battery size all move the figure, so you get one clear written quote before any work starts.
Can I add a battery later?
Yes. I set the system up so a battery can be added now or in the future, letting you store daytime generation to use in the evening.
Will solar work on my roof?
Most roofs are suitable. I look at orientation, shading and your roof's condition first and give you an honest view of what it'll realistically generate before you commit.
Do you handle the electrical certification?
Yes. The electrical installation is tested and certified under my NICEIC registration. For export payments I'll point you to the right MCS-certified route where it applies.
