I run a genuine round the clock line, so those calls get answered rather than logged.

What counts as an emergency?
No power, a burning smell, exposed live wiring, water getting into electrics, or a board that trips and will not stay on. If you are unsure, ring and describe it and I will tell you honestly.
What does a night call-out cost?
Most fault-finding visits run between £90 and £180 for the first hour, with nights and weekends at the higher end of that. I give you the figure on the phone before I set off.
Do you cover businesses as well as homes?
Yes. A lot of the out of hours work is commercial, from restaurants and shops to offices that need to open in the morning.
