24 Hour Electrician in Central London

Electrical problems do not keep office hours. A restaurant that loses power at nine on a Friday, a flat with no lights at two in the morning, an office that cannot open because the board has tripped and will not reset. I run a genuine round the clock line, so those calls get answered rather than logged.

Central London is where I am based, so I can usually be with you quickly. I arrive with test gear and the parts that cover most common failures, find the cause properly and make anything dangerous safe before I leave. If the full repair needs materials I cannot get at three in the morning, I make it safe, get you running where it is possible and come back to finish it. Everything is tested and certified as an NICEIC Approved Contractor.

A real 24/7 line

Nights, weekends and bank holidays are normal working hours here, not an answerphone with a promise to call you back.

Based in the middle of it

Working out of Great Portland Street means central London call-outs are a short run rather than a trip in from the edge of the M25.

Safe before I leave

Anything dangerous is isolated and made safe on the first visit, and I tell you plainly what still needs doing in daylight.

Your questions, answered

What counts as an emergency?

No power, a burning smell, exposed live wiring, water getting into electrics, or a board that trips and will not stay on. If you are unsure, ring and describe it and I will tell you honestly.

What does a night call-out cost?

Most fault-finding visits run between £90 and £180 for the first hour, with nights and weekends at the higher end of that. I give you the figure on the phone before I set off.

Do you cover businesses as well as homes?

Yes. A lot of the out of hours work is commercial, from restaurants and shops to offices that need to open in the morning.
